Project Overview
The Right Way aims to advocate for the implementation of Trinidad and Tobago Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy at a community level through sensitising and equipping the village council of Buenos Ayres with the tools, data, resources, and needed interventions to empower adolescents in the south western community in Trinidad . This project also aims to ensure that the Office for the Member of Parliament for Point Fortin will aid in reducing teenage pregnancy by placing the issue of SRHR on their office’s agenda as well as that of the Village Council’s.
BUENOS AYRES
Buenos Ayres is a small community situated in south-western Trinidad. The community is known for the well attended Easter weekend activities, inclusive of a marathon, followed by Easter Monday Jouvert and an evening filled with music and sporting activities. Buenos Ayres is also the home town of Calypsonian the Mighty Cro Cro.
